How I built a public website for a pesantren around one constraint: the staff publish news, programs, and galleries on their own, with no developer in the loop.
The pesantren needed one public place for its profile, programs, and activities, and a way for its own staff to keep that information current without relying on a developer for every update.
I built the Bumi Santri Ar-Rumi website end to end, delivered through Triglobs. This page covers the content-operations decisions; the client-facing summary is on the Triglobs project page.
The site was designed backwards from the editor, not only the visitor: the people updating it are pesantren staff, so each content type (institution profile, programs, activities, news, photo gallery) is a simple form in the CMS. Visitors get a responsive public site on desktop and mobile; staff get a publishing workflow that does not need a developer. I use the same CMS myself to add articles.
